Project Management Domains

Project Management Domains are a group of interrelated knowledge areas of the key functions and skills required to lead a project from inception to completion. These domains serve as a comprehensive framework, ensuring that every facet of a project is carefully considered, planned, executed, and monitored. 

At high level, the domains are grouped among two categories:

  • The Core Domains: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost and Quality Management.

  • The Facilitating Domains: Human Resource, Communication, Risk, Procurement and Stakeholder Management.
